Job Opening: Digital Marketing Manager

Patina is a brand advisory that specializes in category-defining beauty and wellness brands. Through our interwoven set of capabilities — investments, logistics, retail strategy, and marketing, among others — we empower our clients to cut through the noise in an increasingly saturated global market. 

Our performance media buyer will play an integral role in the growth of our brands by overseeing media planning and buying across social, search, and display networks. Despite an emphasis on revenue growth and customer acquisition across both DTC and retail channels, he or she should possess an appreciation for brand values, aesthetics, and market positioning, as well as an ability to make creative recommendations to improve performance while still maintaining our brands’ DNA. 

While contract-based to start, demonstrated proficiency in the capabilities outlined below may lead to a full-time position, if desired.

  • Key capabilities:

    • In collaboration with client lead, develop omnichannel channel plans with recommended channel selection, spend levels, and rollout cadence 

    • Plan, execute, and manage programmatic, social, search, and display buys across relevant markets 

    • Manage campaign setup process to ensure campaigns are set up quickly and accurately

    • Monitor and optimize campaign performance across channels on an ongoing basis during the life of each campaign

    • Set KPIs and determine metrics around which to provide comprehensive performance reports

    • Provide performance reports that include campaign recaps, highlights of key performance data, and recommendations for optimizations and future campaigns 

    • Prospect and identify new potential traffic and acquisition drivers and make such recommendations to client teams

    • Cultivate relationships with clients, gain deep insight into their business and provide new solutions to their marketing and advertising goals

    • Optimizing buys, renegotiating programs, canceling or renewing as necessary

    • Provide recommendations to creative teams, including copywriting and art direction, if possible, to improve overall campaign performance

  • Additional Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in a media planning and buying role

    • The ability to work completely autonomously and confidently both internally and in client settings 

    • Self-motivated and proactive working style with a passion for always seeking the best possible result for clients 

    • An ability to motivate and inspire clients and, in the process, develop lasting and evolving relationships with them 

    • Experience in beauty, skincare, and wellness a plus
